I don't think they showed that song but I may be wrong. I was just blown away how Saima looked and the visuals were really nice.

One just hopes that this is not yet another announcement because for the last few years we keep on hearing about a film city or a new lab but nothing has ever materialised.

I really feel sorry for our film industry the way it has been treated by every goverment for the last 58 years.

I saw some song clips of the film yesterday on Prime TV. I was impressed by what I saw. Credit goes to Syed Noor the phtography, song picturisation and the print quality were great.

Believe it or not but Saima was looking stunning in some of the scenes.

He has given music to Saqib Malik's film with Ali Zafar. Naturally he should sing some of the songs for the film also.

What is needed is that 2 or 3 big film makers use Pakistani play back singers like before and these films become hits and then finally we will get rid of Indian play back singers from our films.

Golimaro2 this is not true because the majority of the Pakistanis living in the UK are from the Punjab and there is also a big Sikh community here. Alot of them want to see Punjabi films.

Choorian did great business here and Mehndi Walay Haath even with a limited release went house fall.

Just recently Jimmy Shergill's "Yaaran Nal Bharan" did a business of nearly £50,000 which in fact was nearly double then the business of KTSK.

There is a market for Punjabi films in the UK along as the product is good.

yoyo is it where this years Kara Film Festival going to be held.

If the premier is going to be held on the 10th then what is going to be the date of the general release.

Mostly premiers are held just a few days before the actual release.

Prime TV in the UK have started a new programme by the name of "FILM GOSSIP". With the usual gossip and information on Lollywood it also shows 5 top songs.

What is needed is a full film based programme on Lollywood. Which should include songs, trailors, shootings, reviews, previews, interviews, etc.

Prime TV used to show programmes like Lollywood today but currently are only showing the crap called Light, Action Camera.

Great idea. A good quality website on Lollywood is needed which is updated regularly.

I can help you with writing content on Lollywood. Over the last few years I have gathered alot of Info on Lollywood which can be used.

Charizmatic whats wrong with Majajan. The post production has been done overseas. It has DTS Sound and processing has done from Bangkok. Music is above average it may be not be as good as Choorian or Mehndi Walay Haath but still not that bad.

Production wise it looks good and both Syed Noor and Saima have a point to prove.

Veena Malik has been chosen as the main herione opposite Shaan.

I personally feel Saqib Malik has made a bad choice in Veena. No offence to Veena but neither does she have the looks or the acting skills to be a top star.

Can some one tell me when did Laaj exactly start on Geo on Sunday because according to the programming listings the starting time was 2.05 p.m. I had set my timer on my DVD Recorder for this time but when I came back the film had already started. Did it start at 1.00 p.m.

The film is not even avialable on DVD or video. Agree with Charizmatic the DVD/Video prints of Pakistani films released in Pakistan are pathetic. I wish Pakistani films start getting released on DVD/video back in the UK as before. Through out the 1980s until the late 1990s all Pakistani films used to get released in the UK first. The print quality wss pretty good.

Since the last 4 to 5 years all Pakistani films get released in Pakistan thus the poor print quality and also what I have realised during last couple of years very few films have been released on DVD/video. All in all very frustrating. One is at the mercy of Satellite channels for the showing of new Pakistani films.

More on the film. The film is titled "AJNABEE". The writer is Irfan Khoosat's son Sarmad Sultan. Ali Zafar is being paired with model Tooba. Nothing has been decided on Shaan's pairing. It will be either model Neha or Veena Malik.

Please Saqib don't choose Veena Malik.

Most people are not even thinking of Eid after the tragic earthquake which has effected everyone.

Syed Noor and Saima have dropped "Majajan" for Eid because they feel it is not right to release a film after the Earthquake.

Daku Hasina and Khatarnaak both Punjabi films are confirmed for eid. Also the Urdu film "Naag aur Nagin" will be released on Eid after the postpontment of Majajan.

This is what Shaan had to say to Meera:

His catty comments were simply not appropriate for an awards show the point of which is to honour people. The height of it was when he ripped into Meera for no reason.

He suggested Meera entering in politics as she left the stage and commented that "she has a vision just like our politicians. I was watching and there was some stuff, you guys know what I am talking about."

It had the audience hooting in the aisles, but it was uncalled for. What was Shaan alluding to? Her scenes in Nazar ?

Shan delighted the audience with his compering skills. When he invited Meera on to the stage, he greeted her in the Hindu style and talked only of Indian movies during her presence on stage.

Why is our press suddenly sympathising with Meera of all people.

Don't worry about Meera because Shaan sorted her out. You will have to see the show after Eid.

I don't now the exact reason. Either it was the age difference but more likely Ejaz got very close to Firdous especially during the making of Heer Ranjha. I will try to fing out for you.

Inaam I am amazed that you have such a huge collection of Noor Jehan. I also have big collection of Noor Jehan and other old Pakistani film songs but no way as big as yours.

Brilliant.
